Hi. Thanks for visiting me here at MediGap Advisor. Let me introduce myself. I’m Will Sheridan and I joined this team to be able to help you find quality plans that can save you a lot of money on health care coverage. I know a lot of people expect Medicare to cover most of their medical expenses, but the fact is that only about 10 percent of beneficiaries rely on Medicare alone. Most Medicare members supplement it or switch to an Advantage plan while getting their benefits through a private health insurance company.
MediGap Advisors makes it easy for me to help you compare ways to supplement your Medicare coverage. As an independent advisor, I’m free to help you compare options from the leading insurance companies. That’s how you get the best value.
Even though my parents are no longer around, they are the two people that I respect most in the world. They each had five siblings, so I have a pretty big extended family - approximately 38 first cousins. Even though I didn’t have the chance to help my parents with their health coverage needs, I see how important it is for many other relatives.
My parents have had the greatest influence on me by far and I know how lucky I was to have them. They had kids relatively late in life, and they put us (I have one sister) WAY ahead of their own interests. They made many sacrifices to make sure we had all the best opportunities. They also focused on making sure we appreciated what we were given and didn’t dwell on what we didn't have.
My Extended Family and Interests
Today I try to help others by volunteering at the Franciscan Children's Hospital in Boston, which I would like to do more often. I don't have any kids of my own, but I am most of all a very proud uncle. My niece and nephew (Mimi and Alex) are very special to me. Although they live in Texas and I'm in Boston, I try to see them as much as possible.
Next to spending time with family, I enjoy following sports and my beloved Boston teams. I played nearly every sport as a kid, but I only really excelled at golf. These days, my focus is mainly on golf and on running road races and sprint triathlons.
Sports (especially golf) have given me the opportunity to travel all over the U.S. and recently I was lucky enough to visit the “home of golf” -- St Andrews, Scotland as well as Ireland twice. Golf is very different “across the pond.” I can't wait to go back!
While I’m not really that serious about running, I sure appear to be during the above road race in Boston recently. The other photo is of my buddy Paolo (from Brazil) joining me for his very first Red Sox game.
Now that you know a little bit about me, I hope it puts your mind at ease to know I’m here when you need help with a Medicare plan! Hope to talk with you soon. Until then, take care!
