Well Care and Coventry, two big names in Medicare health insurance, will no longer offer Medicare Advantage Private Fee for Services (PFFS) plans as of 2010, leaving their PFFS customers shopping for new coverage. If you are currently covered by one of these plans, you may enroll for new a Medicare Supplement plan between October 1 and December 31, and your new Medigap coverage will begin January 1, 2010.
