| Keep your mind on “The Mission”
Tim Holt Hello, my name is Tim Holt and insurance has been a part of my life since I was a boy growing up in a small suburb of Pittsburgh, PA. That’s because my father built a very successful local insurance agency and brought me into his business. I started working for him full time in 1989. As my mentor, he taught me his philosophy, which Dad summarized in two sentences:

I can't relate to you how good it feels when you can actually help someone get the exact health plan that they want at a price they can afford. Helping people seems to run in my family. My sister Pam is a registered nurse, and my younger brother Jeff is a computer engineer who works for a company that helps the disabled communicate. Our entire family is physically active with a passion for athletic events. Since I was raised in Western Pennsylvania (famous for Joe Montana, Dan Marino, Johnny Unitas, and others), football ruled. My father has had season tickets to the Pittsburgh Steelers since 1970. We still share and divide the tickets among the whole family, which now has grown into three generations of Steelers’ fans. As a football player myself, I was fortunate enough to have received many scholarship offers from universities. I had an appointment to the Naval Academy, but I accepted a full scholarship from the University of Tulsa. I was even honored to be inducted into my high schools’ Sports Hall of Fame! Always keep your mind on the mission has come in handy many times. Part of the reason that I enjoy my role with MediGap Advisors is that our whole team exemplifies my Dad’s philosophy.
